Any sites out there that would have pictures or explanations as to the different uniforms that Hitler wore?

Thanks

you are in for a surprise:

unlikely the rest of the WWII german personalities, Hitler almost did not use uniforms...other than the NSDAP ones early on.

his shirts, jackets and coats were devoid of rank (collar patches and shoulder tabs) so they were not "uniforms" in a strict sense.

(as shown above..) :)

as the war dragged on, mostly civilian clothes with the only condecorations he used:

WWI Iron cross 1st class,
NSDAP party badge
A well deserved WWI wound badge. (he was gassed..)

best regards

Does anyone know what ever happened to Hitler's uniforms?
Did any of them survive the war?

One of Hitler's Brownshirts with strap and belt/armband, tie etc was liberated by US Army Officer Ben Lieber from the Fuhrerbau in Munich. He has changed hands a few times and I believe is currently owned by Wolfe and Hardin of California.

One of Hitler's Field Grey wartime uniforms and pants were once owned by a Dr. Lattimer whow recently wrote a book about the Nazi Leaders.

A Brown Party jacket with armband is on display at the Russian Army Museum.

A couple of Hitler's visors (the Brown Pre-war style have survived) One is owned by Wolfe and Hardin.

A Golden Party badge of Hitler's was once owned by the late Ben Swerigen.

His blood Order also survived but I am not sure who owns it today.

Damn! I sure wish I had one of those items! Probably worth more than my house! (It wouldn't be as helpful as my house in winter, though! :P )
