I 'm pretty sure you'll find that's a fake and the 'damage' you see there is an attempt to remove incriminating fake markings ... it isn't an old Tony Oliver 'OLT' special is it ?

Cheers, Ian.

Buckle is a fake. Possibly the "OLT" version but never saw one with the stamped "belt prongs".... belt is either Postwar BW or also a fake also... sorry.

Marked O&C ges.gesch, could be an original early SS buckle.
But as is in pitiful state, make me suspicious, it's a expensive buckle in good condition.
Possibly it is good.

Who painted in Panzer Grey the other buckle ?

I have also doubts, it comes from good source, but despite that i will rather discuss/ check it before i lay money for the table. It is little damged, true.
