lufwaffe badges

Post by oudgidske » 09 Jul 2014, 10:21

I recently procured a lot of German insignia and medals from an older collector. Since I'm not an expert, I'm trying to find out if it are originals and what they are. Thanks a lot for your help.

Again....bad photos....but will do what I can.

L to R : Top to bottom

Luftw. Metal breast eagle for White Uniform...heavily reproduced.....would need better pictures of reverse...
Luftw. metal cap eagle - appears original

Luftw. bullion Officers breast eagle - appears original
Luftw. Cloth Observers Badge- "flat" version, appears original.

Luftw. cotton EM/NCO (ORs) breast eagle- appears original
Luftw. Metal Observers Badge- UNFORTUNATELY this one is a REPRODUCTION....(Note lack of revits attaching eagle to wreath!)

Luftw. cloth sleeve speciality insignia- "flying personnel" Original.
