Heer Buckle 2nd Model with Bronze Wash ?
I've been offered this steel buckle - 61mm x 42mm is I take to be a Heer 2nd Model 1936. I think its original, only I can't remember ever seeing a steel buckle with a bronze wash. What do members think ? Any information welcome.

That is a Kriegsmarine belt buckle ... not my area really but it looks good to me.

Yes, a Kriegsmarine buckle.... would be "early" in/for this "version" (attached center disc w/2 soder points)....
Agree it looks good! ....but I'd run this by the buckle experts on the W.A.F., ANY KRIEGSMARINE buckle is "scarce" (to say the least) and with this type I'm just alittle suspicious.... and some fakes are extremely well done.....

I would agree with that ... you can never be too careful where IIIrd Reich stuff is concerned.John G. wrote:Yes, a Kriegsmarine buckle.... would be "early" in/for this "version" (attached center disc w/2 soder points)....
