Afrika Korps belt

Is it possible to use the Afrika Korps belt also with the Wendejacke and with the continental Y-sling (Y-riemen)? Or is it an "historical error"? I'm meaning about reenactment of the Italian front, not other fronts like the France or the Soviet Union. Thanks in advance

Web tropical belts were issued and worn in all theaters and all "branches".... initially for "tropical" uniform but later to any and all who needed a belt as required and as available.... leather and web gear were often mixed in the field.... HOWEVER.... IT's what's allowed by the reenactment group that determines what you can wear. I don't know if events allow "freelances"....

What was "right" in 1940 or 41 (when web meant Tropical only) is alot differant than what was "right" (or "allowed") in 1943/44/45.... they issued/wore what they had.
