Feldwebel or Wachtmeister

Hi,

Rank ID please. Also what is the difference between a Feldwebel and a Wachtmeister?

Hi David, the rank of Feldwebel is the same as that of Wachtmeister, the difference is that Wachtmeister only existed in Transport, Cavalry and Artillery units.

The soldier photographed here wears the Funkmeister trade patch piped for NCOs making him a radio specialist Feldwebel/Wachtmeister.
