I don't like the "liner pins", certainly they've been played with at the least, liner might be a new Czech replacement... can't tell from the photos. Paint looks too good, but would need better pictures of entire helmet for an honest opinion.

Undecaled M42s are still the most common "Combat" helmet... and a properly reworked & aged one can be difficult to tell... this one doesn't give me a warm feeling at first glance....

Today i have talked with some people on the helmt there are tiny little spots of black painting , they have used the helmet after the war and put blackpainting over the helmet. Sombody has removed the black painting again so the original color is once again there , and yes the liner is replaced
