German uniform ID

Hello, everyone

Does anyone recognise the uniform? It is possible some insignia is missing since it was captured and worn by the opponent. But there is a German insignia on the collar as far as I can see. Photo taken in Yugoslavia.

Judging from the cut, the dark color and the piped front, collar and cuff turn-ups, it looks very much like a Feuerwehr [Fire Brigade] uniform to me.
