Ive seen this sign on a poster what doe sit mean please

IIY I can only find it like this YII

Its just a sign with IIY on it. You don't need to see the poster

Y letter code is used for flamethrowers.

I will post the photo, it was from the Great Escape film..........I know it could be all fictitiousbut I just wanted to know if it meant anything as I purchased the poster for my sister at Xmas :D :D

Not to overdo it, but I agree with von thoma.

I have not seen a German military plate yet with the slash in the 7 as we see on the motorbike and the sign also has a 7 with slash.
