Hello.
Hej. Tufft å se en Svensk.
Here is some Waffen-SS camoflage. In order to not brake any copyright laws, i rather would like to email you color images on SS camo. I will scan this from books i have.
By the way, your lucky. I have original Waffen-SS camo in my collection i could scan from to.

the winter oak leave camo looks more ike for autumn and the "summmer" one is probably for winter because white, pink and brown isnt that good for summer is it????

The left one is summer and the right one is autumn/winter. Color on camoflage could differ sometimes, from purple to brown, from olive green to near black (black green). Remember that the whole camoflage project for Waffen-SS was an experiment, where they tryed out different shades of color. The 1944militaria link is good (thanks) but shows repros (fakes). I´m showing the real thing from the war. Another thing to remember is that some times, different pattern could be produced into one garment. Its common to see different oakleaf patterns or plane tree patterns on the one and same poncho (triangular tent). As i said, i have some original Waffen-SS camoflage items to check with and many books.
Last thing to remember with the colors Waffen-SS used, is that they where hand picked by artist`s to work well with light and/or shadows, and not against it. Therefore Waffen-SS camo will look alot different in the sun, than what they do in the shadows. Its true, Waffen-SS where masters in camo on large scale.
The white color sometimes found in the camo is a error from printing the cloth. At least four (4) printing rols/cylinders where used to print the colors. If the cloth stretched during the print, white color would show (the cloth is white).

Cheers.

I know that they show fakes but i dont think they would sale them if their camo wouldnt have been used by te waffen ss. I realised that the left one is suumer and the right one winter but thats why I was confused because in the left one you see purple, brown, nearly white camo sheme wich would be more usefull for winter and in the right one the different bron shemes would be much more for summer or even autunm (especialy in the forest) and there where many other different cam shemes they used!! there are for example gren ones wich would be extremely more usefull for summer!!!

The camo they have are good ones, and good examples on Waffen-SS camo. My point is that there is no right or wrong color shades when it comes to Waffen-SS, as they experimented alot with different color shades. On top of that comes the different kinds of cloth they used, that gave different results.

Cheers
