We've had several different quizes running here in the forum for a while with great success and in this new section we're of course going to have one too.

The rules are very simple:
The first one to post the correct answer to a question, posts a new question (must be on the Ottoman Empire during the 1908-1923 time period) and so on.

Who am 1?

As a Major in 1912 I was one of the few German officers to command Ottoman troops in the Balkan Wars.

I'm more well known for my role in the 1923 Beerhall Putsch.

Lt. Col. von Lossow
He commanded the North Wing Detachment fom 3rd AC of Catalca Army during the battles Nov.17/20 1912. He took part at the 2nd Catalca Battle as comander of the same Detachment on Feb. 3-April 13 1913. The Detachment was renamed later as "Aydın Division".

The other German Officer was Col. Matthies. He commanded the 29th Div. at the battles which took place to regain Edirne.

He commanded the 2nd Div. of the East Army during Kırklareli-Süloğlu-Pınarhisar-Lüleburgaz Batteles in Oct.1 Nov.16 1912.
PS : I made a mistake he was the 1st Soverign Grand Commander and Grand Master of Turkish Supreme Councel which became later Turkish Scottish Rite.

In Germany--"the Turkish Building was used by Turkish officials and inspectors..its semi-oriental architecture was designed to make its inhabitants feel at home.Brazilian flag on roof probably indicates its use by other buyers as well."

Which German arms manufacturer built this building?Where was it located?
