Mate,

Thanks for that.

I was wondering about his command of the 4th Corps as I don't have his name as commander these names are listed as commanders of the 4th Corps.

Pertev Pasa
Col Ismet Bey (Inönü)
Ali Ihsan Pasa (Sabis)
Col Selahattin Bey

Like wise his name is not listed as commander of the 9th Army there being only;

Yakup Şevki Paşa (Subaşı)

(8 June–November 1918)

I take it his command of the 9th Army was after Subasi?

Cheers

Mates,

I was rechecking some of this and wondered about his command of the 46th Div

Most records seam to show Erkilet took command of the 46th Div around Sept 1917

But what 46th Div was that?

The 46th Div was broken up around April 1917 after it return from Macedon.

It was reformed and sent to Mesopotania where it was disbanded again around Oct 1917

So when and where did he command the Division?

So when did he go to CofS 4th Army? and or the CofS 9th Army

I did read a British document on the 46th Div which showed this officer?

(Miralay) Mehmed Bedri Sheikhzade

I have not seen any record of this officer?

Did he command the Division on formation in Syria and took it to Macedon during 1916 -17, before the Div was broken up around March 1917?
Cheers
