Mates,

Tosun has given this but needs to be placed here;

1914 - 10x Bns (Engineers) each 4xCo's att Army Corps 1st Army, 2nd Army and 3rd Army 5x indpentant Co's with 7th Corps 12th Corps & 13th Corps each Corps had one Bn Engineers and Telegraph Co

As the war went on more Engineer troops were formed with many veriations, like they were called Sappers or Pioneer Troops and Constrution Troops.

Also formed were;

14x Pontoon Sects of which 9x Sects around Adrianople

2x Bn Railwy Eng in Syria for the Hejaz and Anatolian Railway lines 2x Bns at Istamboul

Some reports give the 4th and 8th Engineer Bn's as Pontoon Troops during the two invasions of Egypt in 1915 and 1916

The Engineer depot was the Engineer depot Regt at Haskoy Turkey, but I am unsure if others were formed?

The 20th Corps is shown with these Troops

shown June 1917 Allied reports - 20th Corps Eng Co (150 men) & 2xCo's 17th Eng Bn (300 men)

shown Dec 1917 Allied reports Telephone (Sig) Co (82 men) 20th Corps Engineer Co (178 men) -

shown July 1918 Allied reports 5Co/7th Pnr Bn 16th Pnr Bn 20th telegraph Bn 166th & 167th MT Columns

Confusing Yes.
