Tosun/Mates,

What do we know about laying up of the old Standards.

After so many years British/Commonwealth standards are layed up in the units church, where they fall apart in the churches.

And a New standard is presented to the unit.

Did old Ottoman/Turkish standards get layed up in a mosque or are they layed up in some other place?

Or does the Turkish Army continue to carry these old standards around?

Any ideas

Fieldmarshal Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Pasha (right) and Commander of 1st Army Sakallı Nurettin Pasha (left) visiting the 25th Artillery Regiment.
Please note that the Turkish Regiments had the standarts of Ottoman Army during War of Independance.
