Norman
(concerning NCO of Chasseurs)
I meant:
Norman writes: ... (piping + scalloped)
But actually (in Vanson's sketch) was so: ... (no piping + plain)

Epaulettes:
Mushir: gold ep., covered with jewels.

Some of the information came from this plate, however the modern uniform illustrations I cannot trace back to historical images/reference:

Whereas these are historical images I can find:

1st Regiment Raised 1853:
Czajkowski mentions "red caps" [fur caps with red bag?] and "double sleeves (of jackets)" of this regiment; trumpeters - red coats, white horses.
Jouve (1854) describes the cossacks as - "mauvais colbacks de peau de mouton, leurs souquenilles de bure marron, a manches flottantes, et leurs pantalons sales... longues lances et leurs pistolets a la ceinture".
Thoumas (April 1855): officer of Ottoman Cossack unit - red dress with captain's lace; lieutenant of Ottoman cossack regiment - blue tunic with silver ceinturon (with plate of Parisian National Guard), blue paletot with white cuffs and collar.
Print of Suhodolski (1855).
Sketch of Vanson.
Weapons: French (from Napoleon III) - lances, sabres, pistols. Later received 500 English sabres and 100 carbines.

2nd Regiment Raised 1854:
Uniforms of the French Chasseurs of Cheval, including red trousers.
Later received uniform from British authorities.

Banner of 1st Ottoman cossack Regiment, 1854:
Bi-colour, with an emblem of “the cross and crescent union”: “on a red field the silver Muslim crescent, and on a white field – a gold orthodox cross”. Judging by an print of Suhodolski, a banner composed of two halves (shared vertically in the center), and near a crescent on a red half of field have also a five-pointed star.
