4th Div in Persia 1916

Mates,

I was wondering about the fighting by this Division in Persia?

After Gallipoli the 4th Div was sent to Persia early 1916 where its recorded that the 10th and 11th Regts were captured?

10th Regt - LtCol Kemalettin Captured 1916?
11th Regt - Maj Mehmet Emin Captured 1916?
12th Regt - Maj Bayatli Arif sen to 47th Div Feb 1916
22nd Regt - LtCol Muhittin replaced 12th Regt

by 1917 it appears the 10th Regt was reformed or not all captured in 1916 as the order of battle shows

Jan 1917 -
10th Regt
1-4/156th Regt (also shown with 10th Div)
1-3/167th Regt (also shown with 10th Div)

But since the 10th Div had been disbanded Aug 1916 and they were not part of the 5th Cau Div that must be wrong?

Do we know how the 10th and 11th Regt were captured and any other details on the 4th Div during 1916/17 until it was also disbanded Jan 1918.

Also were the two commanders of these Regt also captured?

Cheers

Mates,

I take it that the 4th Div arrived in time for these actions in 1916?

"This task was given to the XIII Corps commanded by Col. Ali İhsan Bey, who began his advance in late May. Meanwhile, on the Russian side, Baratov was hoping to capture Khanaqin and move down to Baghdad, which could have been taken by the Russians as the Turks and the British were busy fighting each other. He forced Khanaqin once again, on June 3, but this time the balance had changed. The Turkish XIII Corps successful repulsed Baratov’s forces, and did not leave it there; soon the counter-offensive that was planned by Enver Paşa was launched. Ali İhsan Bey captured Kermanshah on July 2 and took Hamadan on August 10. Having lost half of his men, Baratov was forced to retreat north, all the way to the Sultan Bulak range"

The only Div mentioned is the 6th Div which arrived some months before the 4th Div?

Units of the 13th Corps are shown as 37th and 38th Divs later 35th Div and 52nd Div 12-15 and 2 Div 2-16

So where and when 4th Div arrived to lose two Regts is unknown?

Cheers
