She was clever: she demanded her salaries in swedish money and left Germany in 1942 when it became to dangerous (air raids) and she expected that Germany would lose war. :wink:

The irony of the song is overwhelming. The rough English equivalent of the title would be "It isn't the end of the world", but for the regime and most of her audience it was.

Her films are very interesting but not that easy to find. Fortunately some are available on YouTube.
