Hello,

I came across this post, and was wondering if anyone ever found the lyrics or MP3? I've been trying to track them down, but haven't had any luck. Any help is appreciated

Thanks in advance

Rob

"Wir sind Kameraden" is a song from the movie "Kopf hoch, Johannes" (1941), composed by Harald Böhmelt with lyrics by Richard Busch (the movie actually starts with this song). The well-known poor-quality online file was made the same year, by the band of the regiment "General Göring", for "Tempo" company.

Cheers,
Ivan

Hi there !
Does anyone here know the lyrics to ‘Wir sind Kameraden’, the song from the movie ‘Kopf hoch, Johannes’ ? I believe it starts with “Uns’re jungen Herzen sich vereinen…” and the refrain: “wir sind Kameraden, jetzt und alle Zeit, und wir sind true zu uns’rer Fahne…”
Thanks

Partially. The Quality is very poor, but maybe someone else can complete it:

Treu [...] unser Blut!

Wir sind Kameraden,
Wollen's immer sein,
Und so tritt einer für den andern
Mit seinem Leben ein.

2. Das was Ihr erkämpft habt [...]
[...] unser Erbe sein
Und wir Jungen werden wieder [...]
[...]

Well I have listened to very much all available source on youtube several times and tryied to transcrip the lyrics as best as posssible. Additional I got some more information about the texter and composer, sadly the year of creation is nowhere to find in the internet, aswell as the original lyrics. So here is what I got:

[Even less correct lyrics (the previous ones are also incorrect) have been removed by the host.]

** Im not quite sure, if it is like in my first or second
I cannont get, what is sung at the ______ positions.
There can be some variations of the lyrics, they have used in the movie, but if so, it will be nuances only.
