What I've is the following.
I also have his DoB as 22-4-1894.
Served with Waffen-SS, so that should be correct since Iltis tells us that the Führerliste says he served with SS-Infanterie-Regiment 'Nordland'.
In 1944/1944 he was Schutzhaftlagerführer at Gusen II.
Died(hanged)on 12-11-1948 in Landsberg-prison.
Greetings,
Mike

Interesting small article about Max Pausch, bandleader of the Musikkorps III./SS-VT "Germania", can be found here: http://radolfzell-ns-geschichte.von-unt ... ngehoerige
At the end of the war after serving in some Musikkorps in Berlin (SMK der W-SS maybe?) Pausch was a Lagerführer in Mauthausen and later executed by Americans in 1948.Max Pausch (1894-1948)
13-15 in Radolfzell.

SS-Standarte in Leipzig.
1940-1941: SS-Rgt. „Nordland“
1941-1943: SS-Ers.Btl. 5 „Wiking“
11.1944: Musikkorps in Berlin
