Hi guys and gals -

It has been a while but since I've been perusing this particular sub-forum I thought I would contribute a link you all might be interested in.

It's free to listen to, but you do have the option of signing up.

Live365 is an online-streaming radio with many stations. One of them is Weimarrundfunk, which plays nothing but the "pop" music of the era. It's one of my favorites and I thought some of you might want to listen to it too.

So after searching for cds with music like are played on this radio station, the "pop" of the era, i have always failed, until i hit this link.....well now can anyone here tell an idiot like me where i can buy cds with this type of music...it seems all music i find is military....some guidance in this area would be greatly appreciated.

as for the station, now on my favorites list. thanks so much :-)

Nice to find this thread! I have always been curious of German taste in music in the WWII era. My American grandparents constantly spoke of their favorite songs of the time. I'd like to know what they would have listened to had they been German. Thank you!
