Hello everyone, I found some pics of a speech that Léon Degrelle made in Palais de Chaillot (Paris) on 5 March 1944. I have no clues about the Musikkorps except that it's not the Herman Göring Musikkorps, because in the pics, the musicians don't have the Herman Göring division cuff title (the caption says that it's the Leibstandarte Musikkorps, which is incorrect). Can someone help me to find out which Musikkorps is here ?

Not sure about the band but I'd say the conductor is Paul Haase. Can anyone confirm this?

The conductor does look like Haase, but what puzzles me is the lack of ("General Göring") cuff-titles on bandsmen's uniforms; could it be Haase with his "General Göring" bandsmen without cuff-titles (but why wouldn't they be wearing them?), or Haase as a Musikinspizient (wearing his old "General Göring" cuff-title) conducting several different bands (the photo shows only one part of musicians), or maybe it's not him at all... In any case, more photos from this concert might help solving the dilemma(s), at least partially.

A very nice press photo showing a Luftwaffe band posing with Olympic contestants of all races at the Olympic Village (Döberitz), 1936. The band might have belonged to the I Battalion of the 22nd Flak Regiment, stationed in Döberitz. (The bandleader - next to the kettle drummer, with glasses - wears Musikmeister collar tabs.) Of course, it could also be some other air force band that attended the games.
