Re: Triumph des Willens (1935)
Dear Colleagues:
I am trying to identify a song that is sung during a scene in "Triumph des Willens" or "Triumph of the Will" (1935).
During the scene after the sun rises over the SA and SS bivouacs, the SA and SS men are washing, cleaning and polishing boots, shaving, preparing fires, cooking meals, eating, etc., there is a potpourri of NSDAP and SA lieder playing in the background. It begins with "Herbei zum Kampf,", then moves into this unidentified song followed by "Als die goldne abendsonne."
Could someone identify the second song please?
Thanks very much.
All the best,
Der Alte Kampfer

Re: Der Marsch zum Führer (1940)
Hi Everbody!
I just watched a clip of the HJ movie "Der Marsch zum Führer" and would like to know the name of a march they play. Haven't heard it before but I think the melody is terrific. I'm afraid it's part of a potpourri though...

Important bit starts at 3:52...hard to tell when the march itself begins, probably a few seconds earlier...
Thanks in advance!

Re: Der Marsch zum Führer (1940)
It's an unidentified march with the song "Unter der Fahne schreiten wir" (lyrics by Max Barthel) in trio.
Cheers,
Ivan

Re: Der Marsch zum Führer (1940)
Does anyone know what the music is in the first part (starts about 30 seconds into the film) of Der Marsch Zum Fuhrer? Same music/scene also begins The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.
Thanks,
S

Der große König (1942)
Hi everyone!
I'm looking for the Schweidnitz battle-opening of the 1942 Movie "Der große König". I'm guessing it's a fictional march composed for the movie but in case it's not i'd rly appreciate if someone could tell me the name of it.

I think the fanfares and the drums are marvellous. I hope this really is a real march and that there's a full version of it.
Best wishes
