Hello,
I've been wondering what the difference between the different Telefunken prefixes and different lables mean.
I.e.
Telefunken A-series (standard blue labels)
Telefunken M-series (red label Musikus)
Telefunken TA-series (standard blue labels)
Telefunken E-series and other assorted special Telefunken labels.
What was the point of the distribution, it seems that many marches were released across the entire line?
Some songs were released multiple times on different prefixes.
I believe the TA series may be for export?
Cheers
Alex

Hello everyone,
I've been wondering for a long time, whats the deal with the brown shellac used for a number of Telefunken Musikus releases? Its a really interesting color for shellac and I notice that not many Musikus releases were on this color of record. I originally believed maybe it was a color for march records; but, I've seen some titles which are not marches or military music released on them.
Cheers
