[Several threads dealing with the same song have been merged and renamed by the host, Ivan Ž.]

Does anyone know where to find "Wenn wir marschieren" song? I have looked all over and only been able to find the first verse. I hate to post a song request but I have been trying to hear it for a few months now.

There are a number of "Wenn wir marschieren" songs around; could you be more specific about the rest ? HN.

Seems to me you're looking for this catchy marching song: Wenn die Soldaten durch die Stadt marschieren

There's a recording by Marlene D. online

They also play Wenn die Soldaten in the beginning of the movie Nuremberg.

Hello,

I need help identifying the name of this march. I uploaded a mp3 sample of it, just click on the following like and hit the orange download button. Sorry but this was the best quality I can get of the march.

Did anybody hear any variants of the song "Wenn die Soldaten" recorded before 1945 (not a potpourri but complete song)?

No, I have never seen this song performed by a pre-1945 era band but I assume it must have been recorded.

That is actually a Liedermarsch (songs-march) - a march composed of several songs (and among them is also "Wenn die Soldaten").

So far I've heard only a couple of recordings made by childrens' choirs.

Cheers,
Ivan
