Thanks for all the pictures Peter,way behind on making copies of many of these too.On that sniper one,looking at unifom,no smock thought maybe waffen ss,or even say a finish soldier?.

Luftwaffe flak crew in the desert, from my collection, bought online. The two whose arms you can see appear to have the blue luft AFRIKA cufftitle and you can see the flak badge on the officer in the middle and one of his comrades. I think they may be related, though not sure on this.

The pic with the gunner overlooking the roadblock, what kind of weapon is that?
Seems rather long, or is it the angle of the shot?

Hello to all

please are any photos of kampgruppen EBERHARD GLITZ ? 1944 in Greece then left to north for Germany i dont know what happen to him i think lost his life in fights in yugoslavia but i am not sure for that.
For any info i apreciate

Using Google earth i think the flak crew are in this location (judging by the signpost and the distances).
It looks like they are across the road from the town hall in a small village called Drocourt which is situated between Mantes-la-jolie and Magny-en-Vexin.
Anyway the distances tally up.

Just looked through all 15 pages here, lots of great photos.

Comments - FG / LW ground troops had a very wide variety of uniforms! Also, MP40's were widely issued to them, obviously. Surprised to only see one shot of an FG42.
