Ia Major Ebel

Just curious, but who does the Stellenbesetzung list as the last Ia of Fallschirm-Panzer-Division 1 "Hermann Göring"? Zweng has these entries for Werner Ebel:

05.10.1944 Gen.St.Fs.Pz.K. "Hermann Göring" kdt.
15.03.1945 Stab Fs.Pz.Div. "Hermann Göring" (Ia mWb)

Was Ebel serving simultaneously as Ia of Fs.Pz.K. "HG" and Fs.Pz.Div. 1 "HG" or is this a typo? I thought the division was geographically separated from the Fs.Pz.K."HG" during much of this period.

The Stellenbesetzung was done by OKH, I found a copy of it in the Ia-Unterlagen of Hgr. Weichsel

Well i do like the Fallschirmjäger the most,but though dont have to much on them in books at home,the HGD etc... are my favourite geran forces in WW2 and all time realy i think.

There is some nice info about the Fsch HG in Kurowski's book, however I don't want to start a topic about this "historical genius" by posting some "Stellenbesetzungen" from his book.

Well, I got it as a present by Forummember Michi...it is not as bad as his usual work at he was massivly flanked by the Truppenkameradschaft HG while compiling it ....for example in "Fränkische Infanterie" for example his name is on the cover although nearly 95 % was written by mambers of the mentioned units
