RSI Folgore and German Fallschirmjäger together at awards ceremony.

Generalleutnant Heinrich Trettner who commanded 4FJD at Anzio can be seen as well.

RSI Paratrooper wearing German splinter smock complete with Luftwaffe eagle, and Italian camo helmet cover. He aso wears a German Luftwaffe belt and buckle to hold his three cell pouch. He also wears unusual boots for a para which appear German.

About 25 Italians with the 500th SS Fallschirmjagers at the time of the raid on Tito.This from a former Folgore member as told to his eldest child.

Great picture - interesting mag pouch, single flap cover - SMG looks like a Sten (see spring at front of mag housing + MKII style shroud over barrel), not a Beretta SMG or MP40. Definitely an Italian fighting knife -
Very interesting.
