Interesting. Surprisingly motorized. Large anti-tank company.

Christoph,
That's quite a find, thanks very much for sharing. I'm struggling with the language barrier though. For the Jager and MG Kp HQ there are 12 men listed as 'Absetzleitende'. The closest I can get to a translation for that is pathfinders; is that right? Also I don't know what 'usw' means, is it non-jumper, with Sp being springer (jump personnel)?
Thanks,
Gary

Hi, Gary - "absetzleitende" I believe is the same as "jumpmaster"- "JM". That is, the guy that see to that the others get out of the of plane in a proper fashion. He can stay behind in the plane or jump as the last one. A jumpmaster can also direct the pilot and decide the point of "absetz" (step-out - leaving the plane). I believe that in the German system the pilot decided this according to pre-flight orders.Gary Kennedy wrote:Christoph,

"Absetzleitende" could also simply mean the first one out of the plane. Which could be how the Germans used their "jumpmasters".

P.s.: Look at the youtube video below and you shall see a modern version of (female) jumpmaster in action:

This video is actually named "absetzer" - self-explanatory:
