Hello,
Does anyone know what was this division early organization, when it was committed in the Don bend late 1942?
I found that it had three Jäger-Bataillone (without regimental HQ), four companies each. For the combat support units, it is a lot more blurry even if it is possible that it followed the same pattern as the other Luftwaffe ground divisions at this time: a Panzerjäger-Abteilung (three companies, including a Sturmgeschütz one)? An Artillerie-Abteilung (three batteries)? A Flak-Abteilung (three batteries)? A Radfahr-Kompanie? A Pionier-Kompanie? A Luftnachrichten-Kompanie?
Thanks for your help!
Cheers,
CNE503

OB for the 7th Lw Division about mid-December (at least that is what I can figure the date to be by the 4th Panzer Army records in the microfilm roll.
