Is this an abbreviation for a Luftwaffe unit?

(Cross-posted to the Luftwaffe Air Unit sub-forum)
Google searches for this are inconclusive and speculative. Is anyone familiar with the abbreviation 'F.L.P.?' It's been noted on a small number of captured Soviet rifles, but I'm mentioning it here as it's been theorized that there is a Luftwaffe connection based on an identification disk bearing this same abbreviation.

In the admittedly small sample noted, it is usually stamped, 'F.L.P. Mi,' and rarely 'F.L.P. Riga.' Have you ever encountered this in your own research?
Thank you,
Pat

Certainly there were several Luftwaffe "Feldluftpark" during WWII, but I'm not sure they were abbreviated as F.L.P.
Also marking a rifle with a unit name would be quite unusual in my opinion...
