There war no silver version Italo-German Afrika medal....there were "gray metal" versions, looks like someone polished one of those....unless, of couse, it's a reproduction to begin with.

It almost looks like zinc bubbling.

I don't like it and I've never seen a zinc version of this award.

it sounds weard but i have a west wall medal in silver or made of silver i got told by the personi got it from that it was going to be the 1944 one ... what i doubt but still braught it as it was nice

there are zinc version of both the West Wall medal as well as the African Campaign medal

Looks zinc with no finish on it.
