AlifRafikKhan did YOU post the text in your link (http://www.listityourselfauctions.com/d ... 1&bigpic=0) or did you only copy it from a foreign website and place it here? That´s called violation of the copyright, guess you know that allready.

The photos in the above post were deleted by the moderator, since none of them showed the anti-partisan badge being worn, and were from another website. Those interested in seeing the photos can click on the link supplied above.

AlifRafikKhan,
The items linked too, being offered on "listityourself" auctions are all, IMO, highly questionable....NOWHERE does it say these belonged to ex-SS Mr. Sassen.....only that they were being offered by his son......all, from SS Camo field cap, to Sniper's vail, to Pullover smock appear to be modern reproductions.......

Even the soldbuck pictured as his appears to have serious issues and is probably a replacement copy at best!

Manion's, especially the "List it yourself" sections....are full of CRAP....BEWARE!

Thank you dear moderators, never knew of the facts until you've told me. I thought it's an original Bandenkampfenabzeichen in Gold. Is there's a complete list of the recipents of this prestigious award?

The Badge the old veteran was wearing HAS TO BE the 57 version, he would have been subject to arrest if he wore his "Swastika" version in public.....and remember, 60% of those who qualified for the GOLD GRADE never recieved the pre-1945 version, it was only "after the war's" final accounting that many qualified for the award (in whatever grade)....and thus only received the "57 version" (The 57 version had to be "applied for"....it wasn't just issued to everyone who qualified unless still on active duty!)

The old guy may have been legit....the stuff they were selling is what's questionable (to say the least)...
