These are my last 2 Iron Cross added to my Collection.
Schinkel Form has an original 25mm wide ribbon, is this size correct?

The 25mm ribbon was normally reserved for "medal bar" mounts..... but I've had various German medals that had "unmounted" 25mm ribbon sections.... so not unknown... however, not "just" schnickle form" Iron Crosses...AFAIK.

Thank John, What you say makes sense and my ribbon, which It seems to be original has some fading to the red band which I think it qualify for an early type, having said that, now a days one can’t be sure either. :) At least the Schinkel EK2 it seems genuine.

The ribbon is not faded and is thought to have been the original ribbon for the Schinkle. I have 10 unused orange ribbons. Jim
