Hi

In this picture of Auschwitz Camp staff(I'm aware who the individuals are) Rudolf Hoess is at the front.
What is the award Hoess has to the left of his other awards that seesm to have an extremely large swastika on it?

Thanx

Kameraden,
He's wearing a "Traditions-Gau-Abzeichen" or Party Districts Commemorative Badge- for Saschen, Bayerische, Ostmark,
Halle-Merseburg, Hessen-Nassau. Magdeburg-Anhalt, & Lubeck. Normally awarded for loyal & outstanding service to the
Party to Party members in the Gau durning the "Kampfzeit"....this type was dated either 1923 or 1925.
