Erich, if I remember correctly the title is Kampfgruppe Prentl. I don´t have the book myself, but borrowed it some time ago from a friend.

This one is not maker marked. It's late war feinzink Anodised dark gray with the highlights polished.

would I assume then that this is a late war example..... 1945 ? Though I do know that there were unmarked badges made.

Yes late war badges were made in the war years 1943 thru the end of the war. Some were maker marked some not.
