Honour Badge of the National Motor and Air Travel Circle -Silver and Gold Class.

Instituted on.
Numbers awarded were;
Rarity – Extremely Rare
Known Makers. Unmarked

The Ring der Nationalen Kraftfahrt und Luftfahrt issued an Honour Badge in two grades silver and gold which consisted of a wreath in the form used in the imperial Flying badges. This badge measures 71 mm by 45 mm and is formed by a wreath of oak leaves on the right and laurel on the left. There is a large bow at the base and the German imperial crown surmounts the apex. At a 45% angle surmounting the wreath is a bar in the form of a stylised wing with on this an eagle with outstretched wings. The eagle’s head bears the imperial crown. In raised Gothic letters are the initials of the organisation R,K,L. The reverse shows the silowet of the obverse and it has a needle pin and C catch. The badges are constructed of thin pressed metal. The silver badge is finished in an oxidised smoked finish on the obverse with the reverse in charcoal grey overall appearance. The gold is likewise finished. The award was to be worn on the left breast pocket.

Hello friends.

I've found this pic of Albert Kesselring's funeral pillow. I can identify three of the four breast stars: Merit Order of Hungary, Colonial Order of the Italian Star and Order of Saints Marurizzio and Lazzaro. I have doubts about the 3rd star: could it be the Grand Officer star of the Order of the Crown of Italy? Or maybe the Grand Cross of the Military Merit of Savoy?

The Romanian medal shown above in http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/ ... hp?t=75064, is the Military version of the Order of the Star of Romania, model 1938, knight rank, 2nd class with Military virtue ribbon

Hi, what is the medal around the neck of Generalleutnant (Luftwaffe) Werner Anton? I couldn't found the medal in question in the list of this link: http://www.ritterkreuztraeger-1939-45.d ... udolph.htm Maybe Rumanian decoration?

Does anyone have any knowledge of the award of the Order of the Star of Romania to Georg Briel. The picture shown above is from the original that I have in my collection.

Please wait for other opinions but the background is similar to the Fire Service award and the central shield will be the district.
