John G. wrote: the small round medal hanging from his pocket flap appears to be the Italian Award for Germans serving in N. Africa medal (Italo/German "afrika" Campaign medal).

Possibly head of the SD Staff that was in Tunisia/Libya (or something on that idea)
John G.
Although quite pixelated the medal seems to have a square bottom, that would rule out the Africa Medal.

The Herr SS-Stubaf doesn't look like Walther Rauff, head of Einsatz Tunis.

Dear friends, on these pics (from this forum and from WAF) we can see von Reichenau's funeral pillows during his funeral. On the left side appear the foreing decorations. Do you have any idea about which decorations were awarded to von Reichenau from Axis Powers?
On ABR there is no mention to any foreing decoration awarded to von Reichenau...

Red and white sash, with breast star, must be Italian Crown Order (Grand Cross). There are also two neck decorations: Green and red and White ribbons. Could be Merit Order from Hungary (peacetime) or Saints Maurice and Lazarus from Italy. The other cold be Hungarian Merit Order (wartime ribbon), or maybe Commander Cross of Italian Crown Order.

Dear friends, I found this remarkable picture of Erich von Manstein and Antonescu. The German Marshall wears a medal on his chest that does not appear on the lists that can be read on the Internet. It must be a Romanian award, in the category of Grand Cross. Could the Order of the Star of Romania and the Order of Carol I.

What do you think?

I Google and found this: Hadsegélyező (Artist: Richard Adolf Zutt 1887-1938] was a Swiss-born sculptor and copperplate-engraver (his hall mark is looks like an octopussy).

('Hungarian War Medal for Volunteers 1914'.) Prize for this?
