KC w. oak leaves/swords @ run down flea market

Ok guys, here is what happened this morning here in Cleveland.
I was talked into setting up at this new flea market today(the 2nd weekend of operation.) I pulled up, and said NO WAY!!!

Anyway, there was 1, yes 1 vendor set up, with really bad household junk, had a couple standard modern B.D.U.s, I told him I was a serious militaria collector, well, anyhow, he states *Do you have a Knights Cross*? I say NO, he says, well I do.So I say, *good for you*  ,then he says it has oak leaves with swords!!

Well, I have heard these stories before,,
like, what are the chances some middle aged flea market guy has a ultra rare KC with leaves/swords.

Mark , anything is possible; more than likely many rare awards are hiding in attics & basements than we will ever know.

I agree.

A couple weeks from now I will go see him and find out for sure.
But I doubt he has a genuine one. But I will find out.

If it's too good to be true.....

but I'd take a shot on finding a $50,000 cross too!
