Totenkopf-Ring
Re: totenkopf ring
Slacky,
Impossible to tell from these limited photos....looks like there are "seams" inside of the ring where the engraving has been "added" after the ring itself was struck, that and the poor quality of the details, and the lack of wear... all say new generation reproduction to me..... the details don't appear to match a 1944 period ring from what can be seen.
However, very limited knowledge on these (me) and bad pictures... see what others (or other forums) might have to say.

Re: Totenkopf-Ring
The Book doesn't change the ring.... you have the referance book....at some point you have to be able to decide on your own. Really, you bought the book and the seller is offering this ring???? NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!!!! ....Unless from Don himself, and he's the one offering the ring.....and even then, he has his distractors, too!slacky wrote:another I could ask him for better pictures . at first I just braught this book (http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=205755) of ebay and he said he had a ring these are the pictures sent
More pictures won't really help....and why the "poor quality pictures" in the first place, unless to "lure" someone in! DANGER in RED LETTERS all over this....
