1936 Olympics Commemorative Medal & Pin

Here is an Olympia-Erinnerungsmedaille awarded to people who contributed their time in the preparations for and during the actual games. Members of the Civil Service, Police, Tram drivers etc etc who were not directly involved in the games themselves were all eligible for this award.

The maker mark/logo is for Hermann Aurich and 'Ges Gech' is the equivalent of 'Pat Pending'
