Infantry Assualt Badge -HELP PLEASE

Can anyone tell me if this Infantry Assault Badge is real and what the maker mark may be here? Thanks a lot

It is made by Wiedmann .You need to put some vasoline on it to stop the zinc pest.It is a good one.

the maker is E. Ferd. Wiedmann of Frankfurt am Main

I personally like this badge but this is not the typical reverse hardware for this maker which is more often similar to the setup on this badge here:
