My Collection of U-boat War Badges
My Collection of U-boat War Badges
Hello,
I love Kriegsmarine awards and I would like to share with you some of my U-boat badges.
Regards,
Jody
First up is an Imperial U-boat War badge by Walter Schot and a near mint U-boat war badge by Schwerin Berlin (2nd type with silver C catch).

My Collection of U-boat War Badges
Next up are two early U-boat badge of a design by Otto Schickle. The first U-boat badges has a rare maker mark for Mayer and the 2nd badge is attributed in many books to Zimmermann (note this badge has all four arms of the swastika voided).

My Collection of U-boat War Badges
Last but not least is an early 1957 issued U-boat War badge-note the horizontal pin, block hinge and round catch (this is not one of the more common example produced in the 80's).
Finally an early 1972 U-boat badge issued to new crews in the West German navy.
