Wound Badge

If someone was invalided out the Luftwaffe would there be anyway of tracing this through either military or civil records. Is there a database of wound badge recipients ? As I have drawn a blank with 2 aircrew that were WIA 41 & 43.

No data base on Wounded, would be recorded on personal records, possibly the local Wehrkreis or pension records.... but you'd have to already know names, home towns, etc. as well as know where to search and be able to read German.... that's if the records (and they) survived the war.
Long shot.... I'm afraid.

Thanks , thought it may be and with data protection now I'm sure it's even harder. I knew the wounded badge data base would be massive if it actually existed but thought if I could narrow it down to Luftwaffe personnel it would be a start. With the 2 crew disappearing from the records I'm sure they may have been invalided out. One was a sole survivor from a crew of 4 and the other I just have WIA and a date.
