Hi all,

What is the other ribbon worn by the guy on the right with the newly awarded EK2?

Also both NCOs?

Cheers, David

Yes, although I believe I see the thin red line in the middle which (if the correct ribbon) would make it a Kriegsverdienst Medaille (KVM) War Merit Medal.

Doubt it's a KVM, which is a civilian award... probably just a photo effect... (I don't see the thin red line... but my eye sight isn't what it used to be)...

I agree John ... possibly they didn't care that much about a thin red line on a ribbon  I took another look and I still see it 8-) Maybe he earned it before he was called up ? Who can tell.

Thanks for your expertise Ian and John. I've tried to magnify the ribbon--see if it helps?
