Post by vikmam » 05 Oct 2015, 17:18

Could you please tell me:
1. Is it original or not?
2. What is right name of this badge?
3. In which catalogue I can see some information about this badge?
4. What is the price for original badge?
Thank you.

Vikmam,

Can't say if your pin is original... appears to be either ground recovered or badly cast. The pin looks proper but should show much more corrosion if ground recovered. I tend to think it's a clunker.

As for what it is... it's a "Abzeichen fur Angestellte u. Arbeiter R.L.M." (Civilian Employees & Workers for the RLM (Air Ministry). It's referenced in every Luftwaffe referance (basically) and is #9505 f in Heering/Husken's Organization pin book. Not considered scarce... in excellent condition worth $45./90.00 US. Your example would be a tough sell in that condition (if real), maybe $25. or so IMO as a dealer.

Would only be female if she was a worker for the RLM.... not sure there were any female members of this organization as such.

Vikmam,
Your 2nd badge is a "fantasy" reproduction.... you won't find it listed because it never existed.
