Großkreuz des EK und PLM mit Eichenlaub

the Großkreuz des EK and the PLM mit Eichelaub were awarded for winning a "Schlacht" (at least, if i remmeber correctly, i read that von Richthofen was recommended for the PLM mit Eichenlaub; his recommendation was refused due to the fact, that the PLM with Eichenlaub was only allowed to be awarded for winning a whole battle (SCHLACHT). So von Richthofen, after already having the PLM, was awarded the Roter Alderorden instead)

so my question: Is there any ranking between those two awards? the Großkreuz des EK was awarded for winning a "decisive" battle (Schlacht) and the PLM with Eichenlaub for just winning a battle?

and how is to rank the Roter and Schwarzer Adlerorden in those ranking?
