The cross looks multi-piece (sandwiched see photo 2) but I've never seen that type of engraving before. Doesn't look hand engraved to me. To perfect to be hand stamped. The letters are identical to each other. It looks more like 'Spindle Cutter' engraving which I believe is modern. The lettering could have been added later.

Just noticed that the L/16 designation is double struck...kinda sloppy

The "engraving" also is too "good" (over done!) to be true....I have my doubts about the EK itself, but I wouldn't touch the engravings with a ten foot pole. I wouldn't believe it, or "buy" it, or the engravings.... meant to deceive IMHO.

I ask so at least I put my heart in peace
Thanks

It is marked L/16 for S&L on it?

No, this would not be correct.
