Hello!
I´m interested in the WWII in North Africa (Egypt and Cirenaica). We have a lot of books about the desert battles (Tobruk, Brevety, Battleaxe, Crusader, Sidi Rezegh, Gazala...) in several languages. We also have some maps of this region (most are Italians) but they have neither the same relief nor the same level lines. I need to have topographic maps of Gazala (in the west)- Tobruk - Sollum / Halfaya / Sidi Omar (in the east) in scale 1:100.000 or 1:250.000. I have tried to enter in the web pages about museums and archives but I have problems with my English.
If you have them, can you send me a copy of these maps, please?
Thank you and sorry for my English.

Take a look at the Australian War Museum site. They have posted a number of unit war diaries from WWII as download-able PDFs, some of which include small scale maps in the appendices. I'm thinking here particularly of the 2/??? MG Bn, which has some excellent maps of the El Alamein area. It might take somedigging, but it wouldn't surprise me if you found what you are looking for there.

Hi Riau
have you any specified maps about Tobruk axis siege of 1941 (april-december) and/or any information about Brescia italian division and in particular 1st Articelere regiment??
I will look into my map collection if there is something useful to you.

Then forgive me if you already have this stuff.

1 Celere Reggimento D'Artiglieria arrived in Tripoli on or about the 28th day of February 1941.
It's I Gruppo consisted of 3 x Batteria, each of 4 x 100/17 guns.
It's II Gruppo consisted of 2 x Batteria both of 100/17 guns, and the 502nd Batteria C.A. On 8 x 20mm L/65 Breda.
It's III Gruppo consisted of 2 x Batteria both of 75/27 guns, and the 401st Batteria C.A. On 8 x 20mm L/65 Breda. A third Batteria of 75/27 guns was added in the latter half of October 1942.
It's IV Gruppo consisted of 2 x Batteria, both of 75/27 guns, and the 404th Batteria C.A. On 8 x 20mm L/65 Breda. A third Batteria of 75/27 guns was added in the latter half of October 1942.
