Updated, thanks T.K. !
There should be a chance to find out which Geb.Jäg.Rgt. was around Bologna. The place of birth - Peiting - could be the one I know of, it is near Weilheim, Oberbayern (Upper Bavaria).

Bernd

While looking for the division of a few not yet listed with a higher headquarter I noticed some unclear unit designations / a difficulty to state the assignment for sure :
Leutnant Gebauer a.d Reserve of Fusilier Batt. 230 recieved the BKA in Bronze on 15 July 1944
Füs.Btl. 230 ? 76. ID had Füs.Rgt. 230 ; was at Jassy, frontline combat.
Robert, Otto, 13.11.1944, Unteroffizier, 3./Div.Füs.Btl. 363 - BKAb?
[born on 26\10\02 at Schoemberg?, Source; Wehrpass at Weitze's ]
This should be 363. VDG ; was at Arnheim in autumn 44 ; had a Füs.Kp only in theory.

Hi ecky66, welcome to the forum !

Thanks for that. I have two questions.
1) source for the BKAs ; or (at least) : where mentioned ? / photo / etc.
2) do you possibly know his unit he served with prior to "Hohenstaufen" ? (as I take it as a fact that he didn't reach 56 Bandenkampftage with this division's Nachr.Abt.)

Best regards
Bernd

Dennerlein is listed already. Anders and Zawarty added.
Görgner not added - no source, no answer, no listing.

I don´t know what is OZAK but the all names are slovenian and the link leads to this page:

So far as I know "Slovensko" means also "Slovakia" in slovakian.

Any suggestion to this circumstance will be appreciated! What to do that there will be no confusion?
Is my fear about that maybe without any reason?

Roman
Hi Roman,

during 1943-45 a huge part of North Italy and Slovenia was annexed to the Reich under the name of Operationszone Adriatisches Kuestenland (OZAK).
Slovensko has nothing to do with Slovakia, Slovensko Domobranstvo were like Landschutz units of the Provinz Laibach (P.L., Ljubljana) that was also part of OZAK.
You cannot make confusion with the term OZAK, it's well known to the researchers.
