The photo of the Sdkfz/9 appears to have a hinged screen canopy, that when closed would help keep grenades off the radio tech, gunner. I had run across some reference years ago that efforts were made to add some protection against the grenade/ Molotov cocktail problem, but this is the first time I've seen a possible remedy. Nice photo.

I won this photo on Ebay.

If anyone would like a high-resolution copy (800 dpi), just let me know.

After going through page after page of these pictures,it struck me that once upon a time these were either public domain, or belonged to private persons.
The 'habit" of defacing these photos with "ownership grafiti" irritates me to no extend.
Am I the only one that feels that way ? or am i only so peefed because all MY photos I caried on my person were "confiscated' for safekeeping, together with my watch, and small items of value and decorations, never to be seen again.
They probably will show up some day on e-bay and someone will pay through the nose for actually stolen property.
Oooooh it feels good to get that off my chest.
I know i cannot change the traffic in these things, but i don'th have to feel happy about it.
Meanwhile
PEACE !!!

Well if they didn't have graffiti on them there would be no reason to buy the actual photo! Also other people would also be trying to sell copies of them.

And it isn't as irritating to me as people who shout while typing.

unless you actually TOOK the photograph your self ,... ,....or own the legal rights to the negatives, granted by the original photographer ,employer or their relatives ... ,....you really cant claim to own the rights,.... { and any good graphic arts program can easily erase the stupid personal markings that people some times draw on their images
